A tea is one of beverages which has its long history and the entire mankind enjoys with coffee regardless of Eastand West. This tea originates from Sinnongssi, one of China’s ancient emperorson BC 2,737.

He tried several plants in the mountains and the fields, and sort edoutedibles among them and he was poisoned with 72 kinds of plants. Luckily, he took adose of afallen tea leaf and his poison was recovered, In light of such record, it can be found that at first it was used for medical purposes.

Tea has beens pread across the entire Chinese continent starting from the proximity of China’s south western, Sichuan, and the reafter it hasbeen expanded into neighboring Asian countries.

It was gradually spread via land and sea routes and planted in over 40 countries except Russia, South America, Australia, and Europe. The name, Black Tea was named after its beautiful colors which looked red.

Its sweet flavor, slightly sour, and unique flavoron the tongue has become a favorite food nationwide. In a broader sense, black tea provides place and time to share a kind of cultural and intellectual talks.

Drinking a cup of tea is an act of opening a chapter of richness and relaxation in everyday life. Drinking this with others means a start of amicable relationship. Black tea hasbeen steadily loved for hundreds of years around the world, especially in Europe.

Such traces are well melted in the cultural works such as novels and plays. In addition to daily meaning, black tea had a great impact on mankind as a catalyst that led many historical upheavals such as Opium Warand American Revolutionary War.

As teas have different taste and flavor, there may be a suitable teafood for each type of tea. In this study, the subject is about a tea food appropriate for Britain’s black tea.

After looking at black tea and teafood-related thesis, our domestic teafood-related thesis was about dasik, patterned savory cake. But, there was no England black tea-related teafood thesis anywhere written and Britian’s teafood was set as a topic.

This paper will study in the following order. Unit Ⅱ aims to identify when black tea was introduced to Europe. In subclasses, Chapter 1 explains the inflow of teafood from China to Europe, and Chapter 2 describes how teafood was spread and settled in England afterbeing introduced to Europe.

UnitⅢ is on British teafood. Chapter1 is a study on the British tea culture, Chapter 2 is a study on Breakfast tea and High tea as somefood research of whatkinds of foods are when drinking tea while having meals.

and Chapter3 describes Afternoon tea, After dinner tea, and Tea break asa snack research whil edrinking and having snacks based on Jane Austen’s novel and other related data.

Chapter Ⅳ investigates regional classification of teafood shown in Unit Ⅲ and designates specific regions currently listed on the map rather than the area on the map shown inthepast.

Chapter 1 is on England, Chapter2 Wales, Chapter3 Scotland and other regions based on translated foreign books, and Chapter 4 discovers the similarities and differences regionally classified. This study analyzes the characteristics of the British teafood.

As a result, it can be concluded that each region would have different teafood in our nation.Let us make our domestic unique teafood in the future by analyzing its unique characteristics.
