전 세계적으로 음식에 대한 관심이 점점 커지고 있는 시대입니다. 궁중음식문화재단은 수천 년이 넘게 이어져 오는 한국의 뛰어난 식문화 전통을 세계에 알리고 계승·발전시키는 데 전력을 다하고 있습니다. 국가 무형문화재 제38호 ‘조선왕조 궁중음식’ 기능 보유자의 연구 성과를 집대성하여 조선왕조 궁중음식을 비롯한 조선시대 식문화의 컨텐츠 아카이브를 구축합니다. 조선 식문화와 관련한 고전 연구와 고찰을 통해 음식과 상차림을 재현하고, 조리과정 재현 영상 등을 디지털화하여 향후 전시, 관람, 학술 자료로 활용하고, 자료 대여를 통해 조선왕조 궁중 식문화를 제대로 알리고자 합니다.

There is a growing interest in food all over the world. The Royal Food and Culture Foundation strives to promote, inherit, and develop Korea’s thousands of years of outstanding food culture to the world. By compiling the research results of the skill holders of the ‘Royal Cuisine of the Joseon Dynasty’, National Intangible Cultural Property No. 38, we will establish a content archive of the Joseon Dynasty’s food. Through classical research and examination regarding the culture of Joseon Dynasty, we intend to reproduce food and table settings of royal cuisine, and to digitize the images of the reconstruction of the cooking process as a material for future display, viewing, and academic use, rentable items to prominently promote the royal cuisine of the Joseon Dynasty.
